Project SAFE team visited the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Maria, Bulacan (PUP-SMB), and turned over IEC materials, September 12, 2022.
Dr. Marilyn F. Isip, Campus Director, expressed her interest in collaborating with Central Luzon State University when it comes to research and extension activities, upon knowing the team's purpose.
Dr. Isip also gratefully received the materials and immediately laid out her plans in utilizing the posters.

Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) President, Dr. Jameson H. Tan, welcomed Project SAFE researchers, and accepted environmental paraphernalia last August 12, 2022.
Pres. Tan personally received the IEC materials from Ms. Kimberly Joy Mata, and Mr. Carl Dionelle Ponce, and communicated to the team his plans on distributing the materials between the college's two campuses, its main campus and Doña Remedios Trinidad campus.
Pres. Tan also mentioned that the LiDAR technology, one of the technologies being promoted by the team, is already being utilized by their Institute of Engineering and Applied Technology.
Meanwhile, Dr. Viverly Mata and Ms. Julieta Asuncion, Extension Coordinators - Institute of Education, BASC, commended the layout and content of the educational materials donated to the college, and asked for copies of the brochures.

PROJECT SAFE UPDATES | A seminar-workshop on “Biodiversity Conservation and Phytoremediation Technology” was organised by the Project SAFE on September 07, 2022 at Malolos City, Bulacan
The seminar began with a welcome address by Ms. Rebecca S. Hernandez from agriculture office of Malolos, Bulacan.
Biodiversity conservation of agroecosytem, botanical pesticide, solid waste management and phytoremediation technology were presented by Mr. Daryl Juganas, Mr. Edmark Bulaong, Mr. Roberto D. Pelayo, and Ms. Marietta Valera. The seminar concluded with a policy forum.
The activity was participated by the leaders of Barangay Agriculture and Fishery Council (BAFC), City Agriculture and Fishery Council (CAFC) and City Agriculture Office Staff

San Miguel National High School (SMNHS), San Miguel, Bulacan received learning materials on climate change, biodiversity conservation, Phytoremediation technology, and LiDAR technology last September 1, 2022.
Dr. Joselito G. Milan, Assistant School Principal II, and Ms. Evelyn I. Domalaon, Head Teacher VI - Science Department, enjoined by other SMNHS teaching force, welcomed Ms. Kimberly Joy Mata and Mr. Carl Dionelle Ponce, and briefly discussed with the team the contents of the learning materials.
Dr. Milan extended his gratitude towards the team as he discussed his plans about the learning materials.
The seven posters, and two copies of WARM: Reimagining Climate Change book were distributed to the Junior High and Senior High Schools of SMNHS so that all of the students will be able to learn.
